Seven Sisters Alum Association
Barnard - Bryn Mawr - Mount Holyoke - Smith - Wellesley - Vassar - Radcliffe
The first & only place for Seven Sisters Alums and undergraduates to network & connect
In this episode of Conversations with Seven Sisters I am chatting with Reshma Saujani, who you may recognize from her work as the founder of Girls Who Code and currently the CEO of Moms First (formerly Marshall Plan for Moms), to learn more about how you can use your powers and advantages to support moms.
Reshma shares about how she found her passion of supporting women and moms and has channeled that into her very successful non-profit ventures. She also discusses how now, more than ever, we need young people to enter government and how you can find different ways to support the causes you care about. Reshma shares how she is forever astonished by how the richest nation on earth has yet to implement any sort of paid leave, leaving its most important caregivers behind.
This episode is important because when moms get ahead, we all get ahead. Let Reshma and I know that you listened by posting on one of our Facebook Groups about what you learned from the episode.
We hope you enjoy listening to Reshma and Jen chat about all things motherhood, supporting moms, and the current state of reproductive rights.
